Like, sending someone a link to something you both have a mutual interest in and hoping to at least start a brief friendly conversation on the subject, only to be thrown something like a sudden “Happy Tuesday!” which was just another way of saying “Yeah, that’s cool and all… see ya!” This, coming from yet another person with whom I would talk to for hours online in the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
These kind of instances would be a perfect opportunity for an armchair Pollyanna to chime in and say “Oh! But maybe they were just busy at the moment and didn’t have time to talk? You shouldn’t jump to negative conclusions so easily.” That’s fair, until you consider the fact that there never is a good time, they do this to you all the time, and if they really cared to talk to you, there would either be occasional times where they do respond and maintain a conversation, or they would make it a point to reach out to you to talk when they do have time. This doesn’t happen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
